As we head towards the election of the next UK government, the need for an open dialogue between business and policy makers has never been greater. Business relies on those in government to support them in driving forward initiatives which will help tackle their greatest challenges and facilitate growth and prosperity for their people, investors and operations as a whole.  In turn if government and policy makers can listen to facts and evidence presented by UK business there is more chance of positive outcomes for the UK economy and society as a whole.

ITN Business is pleased to be partnering with the Institute of Directors (IoD) on a programme The Business Ballot: A Road Map for the Next UK Government, presented by Duncan Golestani, which will launch in September 2024. The IoD exists to represent the interests of members and the wider business community to government. The organisation has been at the forefront of debates around enterprise, wealth creation and governance since its formation in 1903.

Together, ITN Business and the IoD will amplify the voices of the organisations and their calls to action to the next UK Government on what is needed to tackle the challenges they face in economic growth and development; those linked to international trade; improving productivity; addressing the skills shortage and creating effective strategies to improve sustainability. Our programme will also feature organisations who are providing the solutions to UK business to deliver on and solve these challenges.

There are commercial opportunities for leading organisations to be featured in the programme and spearhead their own news item. If your organisation wants to share what you stand for and be part of this important conversation, please contact ITN Business’ Programming Directors Michael Holt or Isabella Sharp.
