The Net Zero Festival 2023, a two-day event which took place this week at London’s Business Design Centre, attracted over 3,000 attendees to debate and discuss accelerating the transformation to net zero.
On day one of the event, the 31st October, we launched our ‘Cities of the Future‘ programme, with a special panel session, ‘Net Zero & the Built Environment’, hosted by programme presenter Mary-Ann Ochota.
Guests of the event — including senior business executives, investors, entrepreneurs, policy-makers and campaigners — enjoyed a viewing of the programme’s highlights film at the session before Mary-Ann led a discussion with guests Hannah Giddings, Head of Resilience and Nature, UK Green Building Council, and Andrew Carter, Chief Executive, Centre for Cities.
The event, attended by key speakers including BusinessGreen Editor James Murray, Alistair Campbell, and Joanna Lumley, welcomed over 30 exhibitors, showcasing innovations and sharing inspiring ideas on how to accelerate the net zero transition.
