It’s been an epic week for the ITN Business team, delivering five programmes over four days at four industry events, exploring the shipping, finance, investment and ophthalmology sectors.
This follows closely on the heels of our AI & Big Data programme which launched at an event in Amsterdam last week, and with more to come this month — including our much-anticipated Urban Evolution: Cities of the Future programme, set to premiere at the Net Zero Festival on October 22-23.
A WEEK OF FIVE LAUNCHES
Our big week of launches kicked off with the unveiling of Navigating the Future of Shipping at the UK Chamber of Shipping’s major conference, ‘Shipping UK: Into the New Era’, held at the prestigious QEII Centre in Westminster.

The programme, featuring headline partner Gibraltar Port Authority, highlights the latest advances in maritime technology, with a focus on how the shipping industry is working to reduce its environmental footprint and meet global emissions targets.
On Thursday, the focus shifted to finance with the launch of The Future of Investing at a special panel event at the London Stock Exchange, hosted by journalist and presenter Lukwesa Burak.

The programme explores how companies are evolving their investment strategies to deliver long-term value while addressing global challenges like climate change and social responsibility.
At the Innovate Finance Global Summit, ITN Business debuted The Future of Finance, a programme that examines the transformative role of emerging technologies and sustainability initiatives within the finance sector. The discussions focused on how fintech and green finance are reshaping the industry, providing a glimpse into the future of financial services.

Meanwhile, at the BIFA Business Event, also in London, ITN Business launched Transforming Logistics: Precision and Purpose, a programme that unpacks the critical challenges and innovations revolutionising global supply chains. From automation to sustainable logistics solutions, it explores how the logistics sector is adapting to meet modern demands.
The week culminated with the release of Global Action for Eye Health for World Sight Day. This programme throws a spotlight on breakthroughs in eye care and the ongoing need to improve access to vision health services around the world, emphasising how technology is advancing the future of optometry.
