On Monday 27th November, the UK prime minister Rishi Sunak and over 200 CEOs gathered at Hampton Court Palace for a landmark summit that aimed to secure billions of pounds of investment.
Jointly hosted by the prime minister and the Department for Business and Trade, the summit will serve to drive economic growth and create thousands of new jobs, while showcasing pioneering innovators from across the UK.
With a focus on ‘Great British Ideas – Past, Present and Future’, investment opportunities will be centred around sectors such as technology, sustainability, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and creative industries.
More than 200 of the world’s leading CEOs attended the exclusive summit, which aims to present Britain as one of the best places in the world to do business, as Rishi Sunak made clear in his speech:
Speakers at the summit include Stephen Schwarzman, CEO of the world’s biggest alternative asset manager Blackstone, who will join Rishi Sunak for a keynote panel discussion on the importance of investing in the skills and technology that will shape the coming decades.
CEO and Founder Anya Hindmarch CBE will also be in attendance, joining leading voices in culture, academia, fashion and science.
