The logistics sector is the backbone to industry and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth business operations, which in turn supports the economy to grow. The logistics and supply chain sector has seen many challenges in recent years from the pandemic, rising fuel and transportation costs, as well as ongoing labour shortages. As customer demand rises alongside the adoption of more sustainable practices and advancements in technology and innovation, the sector continues to adapt.

To shine a light on the sector, ITN Business will produce a news style programme ‘Transforming Logistics: Precision and Purpose’, launching at a BIFA flagship event in October 2024. It will feature contributions from thought leaders in the logistics and supply sector, BIFA (the British International Freight Association), Logistics UK and CILT, the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK.

Presented by journalist and presenter, Louise Minchin, in ITN’s London studio, the programme will feature organisations at the core of the logistics and supply chain sector and show how they are adapting and rising to the challenges the sector is facing and looking to encourage the next generation. We will share case study led stories demonstrating support going on in the sector, how organisations are innovating and using technology to generate value and feature organisations who are supporting in finding efficient and sustainable ways to deliver goods in crowded urban environments.

‘Transforming Logistics: Precision and Purpose’ will be hosted on a bespoke page on the ITN Business content hub, and will be supported by a digital launch, including a paid marketing campaign.

There are commercial opportunities for leading organisations to be featured in the programme and spearhead their own news item. If your organisation wants to share what you stand for and be part of this important conversation about logistics, please contact ITN Business’ Programming Directors Michael Holt and Tamsin Luck.
